I must admit I was nervous before this shoot, this was a big one for me! Viki and I dance (well not right now seeing as how she is full term) together and she asked me to do some pregnancy shots of her and of course I was more than happy to do so. But like I said I was a little nerous because this was so out of my comfort zone, but we laughed and had a great time. Little "Rosa" was having a party inside Mommy's belly the whole time!







Now let me just end this post by saying that I know I am going to look like a walrus when I am pregnant one day, but Viki just looks absolutely stunning doesn't she? I swear when she turns around you cant even tell that she is preggo, let alone 9 Months :)
What a fun day, I can't wait to see the little one when she comes out to play!

Sina | Just Because

As I listen to the rain beating against my window, I can't help but look back at this portrait session with Sina and wish the sun would come out and play again. Fall is officially coming - and while I look forward to all the beautiful foliage, I am not a fan of bundling up. Oh and the rain that comes with the Fall here in Germany -not so photo friendly.
So back to Sina's shoot: Not only was the weather on our side but Sina being super photogenic and excited didn't hurt at all! She wanted some new pictures of herself and possibly as a present from her boyfriend, always a good idea if you ask me. But that's enough yapping, time to let the pictures do the talking:

Kathrin + Christoph | Wedding

I had never met Kathirn and Christoph before the day of the wedding - Kathrin's Godmother wanted to get her a photographer as a wedding gift and her original photog cancelled 2 months before the big day - so I basically lucked out and got to shoot my second wedding.
So it could have been a disaster seeing as how we had never met, but before church we met up at a nearby park -woot woot first look- and clicked right away. Kathrin is the life of the party and her hubby is a little more serious and I think we managed to get some cute shots even though the weather wasnt really on our side...





The venue was at a golf course and it was so beautiful, and I literally took thoussands of pictures, so here just a few of my favorite fun shots :)

This little dudes shoes were too cute!




Last but not least: the Groom trying to play golf - sorry Christoph, but I have to say "trying to play" because if you look cloesly at the last shot the ball rolled about a foot in front of him :)

Elli | Just Because

Yet another shoot with Elli. This old limestone factory is Elli and my go to place, to take pictures! The light was really pretty when we took these, kind of a different type of mood for me. Not really my style but I like it...







And the funny faces of course are a must :)

Anne + Juergen | Couples

Anne and I go waaay back, back to being 3 years old , playing in the sandbox, camping n the backyard and having picnics with he doll Katharina and my bear Blacky! She is one of the only people that manged to stay in touch with me, which is saying a lot seeing as how Texas isn't really around the corner from Germany. Before the days when facebook and myspace and email were an everyday thing, we rocked it the old fashioned way: letters! And now we are are both 24 and still super close friends!
I have taken pictures of her before but never of her and Juergen. Therefore this was especially exciting for me and since they have a wonderful apartment together I figured now was the perfect time to do some pictures and add some fun art to their walls.
We had a ball, taking a McDonald's break in between because all of a sudden we were just plain starving. I am so happy with the way these turned out!

Sandy | Just Because

Here's another set of shots with the lovely Sandy! We went to a castle near Fulda to take these shots and I personally love the way all of them turned out - the light was amazing. And of course it as freezing outside so props to her for sucking it up and letting me capture these beautiful images of her.

Courtney & Ruby

Courtney and I danced together growing up and have been best friends since High School. Now 6 years after graduating its really hard to keep in contact considering I am living in Germany and she is in Texas going to Medical School. So when I was home about a year ago we got together, along with Ruby her beautiful brindle boxer, to take some pictures.

We had to show off her mad dance skills and Ruby, her pride and joy!







And last but not least a black and white dance shot. You will always be my ballerina Court!

Maria + Holger | Wedding

Alas, my first wedding...
So when Maria asked me to take her wedding pictures, I jumped at the chance and at the same time I was really nervous. I mean what an awesome opportunity for me to capture her special day!!!Thanks Maria and Holger for taking a chance on me :-)
